The Bible: Trustworthy?

Sun 06 Mar 2016, 6:00 PM

How do we know the accounts of Jesus were not made up? Could the accounts in the Bible have changed over time?

On Sunday March 6th, we will have an evening considering the reliability of the New Testament in the Bible.  New Testament scholar, Dr David Wenham, will be speaking in our service and answering questions afterwards.

Please join us at 6pm at Holy Trinity Wallington. The event is free. Refeshments will be served. Visitors are most welcome.

Dr David Wenham is a leading scholar on historical questions relating to the Gospels and Jesus, and has written widely on the teachings of Jesus and Paul. After studying theology in Cambridge and Manchester University, he taught New Testament at Wycliffe Hall in the University of Oxford for 24 years, and most recently at Trinity College Bristol. His lastest book is Did St Paul Get Jesus Right?
