Our aim is to see young lives transfomed by Jesus… alongside parents… as we share the gospel and our lives.
As a church family, in support of parents we love sharing with the next generation the good news of Jesus Christ, equipping them to love and serve him in all they do. What a great task!
Whether you have been here for many years, or you are new and finding out more, you and your children are welcome here. At HT, families work is at the heart of who we are, from Sunday mornings, to holiday clubs, to reading the Bible in small groups there is lots for you and your children to participate in and be a part of. The team involved in this work are brilliant, dedicated, DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
Here you will see a small window into what we are doing. On behalf of all the team, we can’t wait to see you soon. James

Kids and Youth Sunday Groups
We have groups for all ages on Sundays during the services. We gather together at the start of each service and then the children and youth leave to join their groups to be taught from God’s word, the Bible in engaging and fun ways alongside friends. Groups run every Sunday during term time apart from once a month when we have an All Age Service – where the children and adults join together for the whole service.
Mini-Roots (during 9:15am service) is our group for pre-school children. At this time we are welcoming one adult along with their child for a fun time together during the service as we learn about Jesus from the Bible through stories, song and play.
Rooted Kids (during the 9:15 and 11am services) is for children in primary school. Children come out during the service and return to their families before the end of the service. Rooted is fun and engaging as we learn about Jesus from the Bible through story, song, drama, games and discussion.
Roots Youth (during the 11am service) is for young people in secondary school. Some teenagers come along on a Sunday by themselves, whilst others attend with their parents. Here we dig into God’s word and enjoy discussion, whilst applying God’s word to our lives. We’d love to welcome you!
We no longer require for you to book your child in – feel free to turn up!
A fun group for babies, toddlers and their families with games, singing and Bible stories. Trinity Tots runs weekly on Thursday mornings 9:15am-11am. There is a small charge for Trinity Tots Group. £1.50 for families with one child. If you come along with more than one child the total charge is £2. There will be an opportunity to pay when you arrive. Please click below to book your ticket to come along. Tickets go live at 12pm on Thursdays.
Roots Youth Club meets on a Wednesday after school, 5-6pm and we have a great group of young people coming along. If your child is in Y6-Y8 we’d love to welcome them along!
Dangerous Club meets monthly on the first Friday, 6:30-8:00pm. It is for children in year groups 3-5, and we have a lot of fun finding out more about Jesus, enjoying games and challenges that are safe, but exciting!
We plan lots of fun events planned throughout the year for families and children and young people.
Keep an eye out for updates here.
Each year we want to encourage our kids at church, and those in our town with the good news of Jesus, it’s wacky. This summer we held a fun in person holiday club in the Church building but in 2020 we went online due to Covid so we have it recorded. Click below to watch back!
