Safeguarding
At Holy Trinity we are committed to promoting a safer church, and as such take the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults very seriously
The PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practise on safeguarding which may be found here on the Church of England’s website. Please find our safeguarding policy here.
Our church is committed to:
- Promoting a safer environment and culture
- Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults
- Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation
- Caring pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse or other affected persons
- Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns/allegations of abuse and other affected persons
- Responding to those that may pose a present risk
Each person who works within this church community will agree to abide by our policy and the guidelines established by this church which have come from the Diocese of Southwark’s Safer Church Policy here.
