Exploring Christianity
We would love to tell you more about who Jesus is, what He has to offer and why knowing him is ‘good news’
This course is designed to be a safe space for people to explore the resurrection for themselves, and to find out its relevance for their own lives. By looking closely at Jesus’ encounters with his disciples after the resurrection, and including testimonies from people whose lives have been transformed by him today, we hope that those on your course will, ultimately, have their own life-changing encounter with Jesus.
The courses are completely free and usually take place on a Wednesday evening.
Each session is around 75 minutes, consisting of a short video / talk and a time to look together at what the Bible says. When we meet in person, rather than online, we also take the opportunity to have a short meal together before each session.
What is Hope Explored?
Hope Explored is a 3-session series and looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel.
This brief course shows how Christianity is about real hope, because it’s “a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present”.
Being only three sessions, Hope Explored does not require a huge time commitment and is an ideal way for anyone simply wishing to enquire and learn a little more about why Jesus came and what He has to offer.
What is Christianity Explored?
Christianity Explored is for anyone wishing to think through a bit more deeply about the meaning of life. It is a 7-week course where we’ll aim to answer the question, “What is Christianity?” And promise to answer yours!
Over seven sessions looking at Mark’s Gospel you will find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ – and why He is the best news you will ever hear. Christianity Explored gives you the space and time to think about the big questions of life.
